Café Magna is extremely proud to be part of the growing ‘MV family’. Being managed by the Magna Vitae Trust for Leisure & Culture, means that ALL the profit that we make is ploughed back into improving culture, health & wellbeing and leisure facilities in Skegness and across the whole of East Lindsey.
You will notice that we sit on the same site as Skegness Pool & Fitness Suite, the fantastic Embassy Theatre and Altitude44. These are all members of the MV family, which also includes Louth’s Meridian Leisure Centre, Horncastle Pool & Fitness Suite and Station Sports Centre in Mablethorpe.
All of the above leisure and fitness suites came under the wing of Magna Vitae six years ago, when East Lindsey District Council wanted its leisure venues to be managed by a charitable trust, which had the vision and ambition to improve and innovate, but understood the need to develop facilities that could be enjoyed by residents and visitors.
ABOUT THE AREA
Skegness is one of the most popular resorts along Lincolnshire’s east coast, bringing several hundred visitors to the area throughout the year. Skegness is a traditional English seaside mix, where the beaches are sandy, and the skies are blue.
We are nestled next to the historic Compass Gardens and the Jolly fisherman water fountain, amongst the amusements, arcades and attractions and B&Bs. We are just yards away from a fantastic indoor and outdoor pool and fitness suite, and an outstanding Theatre, both run by Magna Vitae Trust for Leisure & Culture.
LOCATION & PARKING
Café Magna is situated on Grand Parade, right at the heart of the seafront attractions of Skegness. The postcode is PE25 2UG. The local train and bus stations are just a 10‐minute stroll through the town centre to the seafront and there are several well sign‐posted car parks in the resort, including Pier side North and Festival car parks which are very near.
These car parks are owned and managed by East Lindsey District Council, so please check the signage for the latest charges and information or visit their website www.e-lindsey.gov.uk.
